We’ll be honest, it still takes some getting used to. Saying “we’re from Los Angeles” doesn’t quite roll off the tongue like “we’re from New York.” But, like most things, with time it will probably become second-nature.
For now, this is an exciting, nerve racking, and adrenaline rush of a leap of faith towards the future of andagain, something we are so happy that we decided to do. The energy of Los Angeles is already affecting us as we meet photographers, other designers, buy a pair of Birkenstocks and soak up this October heat - something we never knew we would love so much.
Over the next couple of weeks, we have some catching up to do — orders have gone without fulfillment for a couple of weeks (don’t worry this was outlined in all of our terms/conditions) and we have a creative itch that needs to be scratched after weeks without our studios as it traveled across the country, finally meeting us in downtown LA.
For the most part, the move went smoothly. Only a couple of pieces of furniture were damaged, while all of our machinery, samples, and fabric arrived safely.
One of the most exciting parts of this whole thing: we are fortunate enough to be in a space large (and aesthetically pleasing) enough to offer in person fittings, shopping and what will serve as a place to meet us and others interested in art, sustainability, and fashion.
For now, while COVID-19 is (hopefully) passing, this will have to wait.
We also would like to take a moment to thank you; our customers, families, supports, fans, and friends. Without the constant support you have shown over the past handful of years, none of what andagain has become would be possible.
