As we always source our fabrics from deadstock suppliers and remnants from other brands, we never really know what we are going to find. The yellow denim used in this new, shawl collar jacket is deadstock yardage from the Cone Mills USA plant, the last selvedge denim mill that closed in 2017. Additionally, we were connected to a warehouse in New Jersey that was closing and looking to get rid of several hundred leather hides. From these, we have this beautiful yellow leather that perfectly matched the denim.
These two materials come together perfectly to create this split shawl collar jacket. We love to push outside of the typical silhouettes seen in the denim world to create something truly unique.
For our first release of 2020, and for the first time ever, we introduced yellow to our collection, in leather and denim. These two materials come together perfectly to create this split shawl collar jacket. This jacket is made from beautiful, deadstock leather and denim. Our studio model, Emily, is 5' 7" tall and normally wears a size small.
