This jacket was created to perfectly combine shearling, denim and canvas. As this piece is fully lined with organic cotton french terry, this bomber jacket will keep you very warm and is great as a top layer. All patchwork is made from cutting scraps of previous designs to achieve zero waste design. The Patchwork Shearling Bomber is available made to order with a production time of two weeks.
andagain represents a lot of things: an artisan approach to design, sustainability, collaboration, and attention to detail. With our most recent design, the Patchwork Shearling Bomber, we are taking an entirely new level of focus on design and intention. This is a one-of-a-kind design, only being created once.
This jacket is made from deadstock and reclaimed materials. The shell is a mix of shearling, denim, and hand painted canvas, and the lining is made from a soft, black french terry. It will be slightly oversized if you normally wear a x-small, and will fit well if you normally wear a size small or medium. Our studio model, Morgan, is 5' 7" tall and normally wears a size small.
The canvas that is used in this design we saved from ending its life in the trash, adding sections of hand-painted black details, similar to our Painted Canvas Trench. The shell also includes shearling, sourced from Queen of Raw, a deadstock fabric platform, and black denim from Cone Mills in North Carolina, USA.
The entire jacket features a contrast, brown top stitching detail.
