andagain represents a lot of things: an artisan approach to design, sustainability, collaboration, and attention to detail. With our most recent design, the Shearling Jacket, we are taking an entirely new level of focus on design and intention.
This shearling jacket is beautifully created to incorporate repurposed canvas within each seam. The dark brown, mocha shearling is sourced from deadstock supplier Queen of Raw, and other details include a brown silk lining with leather within each seam. The focus on an oversized silhouette creates the perfect piece for heavy layering, while the extended, tapered sleeves make a subtle statement. This jacket is available made-to-order with a production time of two weeks. The lining is made from leather and silk. Our studio model, Emily, is 5' 7" tall and normally wears a size small.
The shell also includes shearling that is used in this design we sourced from Queen of Raw, a deadstock fabric platform. The canvas that is used we saved from ending its life in the trash, after being reclaimed and transformed into the trim for this Shearling Jacket.
